Money that actually arrives

Trusted oversight for settlements, alimony, and child support

Too often court-ordered alimony, child support, and settlement amounts never reach the woman and children — or are used to enable stalking and financial abuse. 4Sistership aims to become a recognized trusted organization with escrow accounts that collect, oversee, and pass funds to the household accounts involved.

Design intent

  • Third-party receipt, collection, and disbursement
  • Reduced direct financial contact with abusers
  • Clear audit trail for courts and families
  • Stage names and address protection tied to money movement

Policy horizon

  • Structure now toward collection-agency / credit-bureau qualification where law allows — unpaid support should hit credit
  • Align with 2015/2016 judicial guidance that alimony and child support can be managed by a third-party organization
  • Sister4Sister asset and resource exchange layered on top of formal escrow
  • Keep closed-loop project grants separate from endowment operating use
