Story is infrastructure

Invisible Woman · Herstory · public truth

We are the voices that were once silenced. The stories they hoped would stay buried. We are the girls of the past — who lived it, who survived it, who carry truths the world wasn't ready to hear. But we are not here to stay quiet anymore.

We protect the girls of the past by refusing to let their stories be erased — and in doing so, we make damn sure the girls of the future never have to live them.

Herstory

A place on the S4S site for women who want to share our stories — with the right hashtags to bring up similar experiences and break isolation (Cindy → Nicole, 8/7/2024).

Grant opening

Emotional video of lived stories and history → concise 2–3 page PDF core narrative → linked evidence appendices → clear grant and endowment ask.

Public truth

Predators come in very smart sheep's clothing. Allied work includes movements such as Free the Forgotten — truth-telling as prevention.

“Women are not afraid of the dark or a lonely space. They are afraid of a violent male perpetrator in the dark.” — Sarah Benson, CEO of Women's Aid · #TooManyWomen
